Put your Statutory Accounts
in a safe pair of hands
Preparing and filing statutory or annual accounts can seem to be a daunting task, which is why we are here to help you through the process and to ensure they are filed on time and in the correct format.
Who needs to file statutory accounts?
Filing company accounts is a legal requirement if you:
own a limited company
are a trustee of a charity.
have a limited liability partnership
Statutory accounts need to be prepared on an annual basis and submitted to either Companies House and/or the Charities Commission.
Our statutory accounts service
Annual company accounts need to be prepared, approved and filed with the relevant body within 9 months of the end of the financial year to avoid any late filing penalties.
Working closely with you to ensure you know exactly what information you need to give us and by when, we will:
Provide advice on whether you should submit full or an abridged set of accounts
Provide you with a draft copy of the accounts for approval. These can be e-mailed, sent by post or uploaded via our secure “file and sign” facility.
Prepare your accounts using your own bookkeeping records or the bookkeeping information we prepare for you
Submit your accounts on time and in the right format.
Understanding your annual accounts
After your accounts have been submitted, we will always take the time to ensure you understand all the information provided in the accounts and what that means for your business. This will include:
Reviewing the results
Answering any questions you have.
Identifying any areas of concern
We are happy to have this meeting whenever it suits you best, even if it’s months after they have been submitted. We can also discuss whether regular management accounts would benefit your business.
